This course consists of a 2 day theoretical part and a 5 day excursion. The goal is that the participants are able to plan, organize and operate wilderness travel for up to 20 days in the snow free time on their own. The first 2 days are done in a stationary camp where theoretical knowledge is taught. After that we will do a 5 day excursion where the teaching about the needed skills and knowledge continues.
Part of the course is a knowledge journal. Every evening we will repeat together the learned topics from the day. During the 5 day excursion the focus is on the teaching and not on the traveling.
